ホロゴンでの撮影で病みつきになってしまうことの一つに、その澄んだ大気の日に撮影した「空の深い青さ」があります。
まさにこの日はその撮影に絶好の日でした。デジタルですと周辺部分の補正が結構大変なのですが、現像ソフトにも助けられ、思ったものに近い色が出てくれました。
One of the unforgettable charm using Hologon is its deep blue color of the sky took under the clear fine sunshine.
This day is just such day. It became rather difficult to express such color using Leica Digital
camera because of the color shift, however I
could get almost desiable color by the help of recent good developing software.

The day of Tokyo station renewal

2012年10月1日の東京駅舎復元初日にホロゴンを持ち出してみました。駅構内の光はかなり限定的で、ｆ8のレンズで手持ちですとかなり厳しいコンディションでしたが、デジタルの恩恵でISO感度を上げて何枚かまともに撮影できました。初日ならではの光景もいくつか見られました。公園の作例は品川海上公園ですが、快晴の青空にホロゴンの描写は凄みまで感じられます。
I took out Hologon 16mm to visit the first day of Tokyo station's renewal
open. The light value inside station was very limited, so it was no so
easy to get proper photos without tripod. I could keep some pictures on
behalf of high ISO setting thanks to the modern digital M9. It was rather
interesting to see some specific scenes of the very first day of re-open.
Examples taken in a park was at Shinagawa kaijo park. The expression of
Hologon on the complete sunny day is even something very aggressive. |

Kyoto mid summer

京都の真夏・真冬は嫌いな方も多いと思いますが、私は特に真夏は大好きです。夏のじりじりとした日差しが日本的街並みを照らし、路地に少しだけ涼しげな風が通り抜けて縁側の鉢植えの葉を揺らすというような雰囲気はこれ以上ない風情だと思っています。なかなか忙しくて訪れる時間がないのが不満ですが。
I understand many Japanese people do not like visiting Kyoto in mid summer
or mid winter. However I like best in mid summer season. To feel rather
cool wind in the middle of alleyway among Japanese style townscape which
are blazed down by the burning summer sunshine is my typical elegance.

Covent Garden

人物スナップが好きですので、つい人の多い場所に行ってしまいます。まさにコヴェント・ガーデンはうってつけです。天気が良い日はさまざまなパフォーマンスが広場のいろいろな場所で行われています。ホロゴンは引き付けて撮った被写体と周囲の雰囲気を併せて描写するのにぴったりです。
Because I like Snap photo of people, I often go such kind of place as Covent
Garden. Many kinds of performances are played at various places in the
garden. Hologon 16mm lens is very suitable to express both the main subject
with very closed distance and the surrounding atomosphere. |

Venezia

あまり数は多くありませんが、上の段にベネチアの子供達の画像を集めてみました。この日も天気が素晴らしく、強烈な日光が照り付けていましたが、フィルターを装着しないままのホロゴンは周辺の光量低下が大きいので、かえって太陽の光の強さを強調してくれるようです。
There were not many numbers, but collected images of children of Venezia
in the upper line. Weather is splendid on that day, and severe sunlight
glared down, but the hologon which is not attaching a filter seems to emphasize
strength of light of the sun rather more in circumference light quantity
falls being big.

Amsterdam

チューリップのシーズンに併せてアムステルダムに行って参りました。天気はちょうど帰り際に掻き曇ってシャワーが来るという変わりやすい天候でしたが、撮影中は日光が差してとてもラッキーでした。ホロゴンは日光に輝くチューリップの花びらをきらきらと再現してくれましたが、この縮小画像で雰囲気が見ていただけるでしょうか。
アムステルダムの町のスナップはいつものパターンで撮影しています。ロンドンに比べると自転車の数がおおく、専用の通路も整ったきれいな街並みですね。
According to the season of a tulip, I have been to Amsterdam. Although
the weather was the changeable weather that scratched exactly when leaving,
had become cloudy and a shower came, during photography, sunlight put it
and it was very lucky. The Hologon reproduced the petal of a tulip glistening
with sunlight shiningly, but would see an atmosphere with this reduction
image?
Photograph the snap of the town of Amsterdam by a usual pattern. When it

Snow in London
(大雪のロンドン) |

08-09年の冬はロンドンとしてはとても雪の多いシーズンだったようです。まだ秋の10月に初雪があり、4-5回は降ったでしょうか。特に降雪量の多かったのは2月のもので、この日は市内のバスは全面ストップ、地下鉄もごく一部しか運行されないという非常に大きな影響が出て、経済活動もマヒしました。この程度の雪にしては、バスが1台たりとも動かなかったり、除雪も進まなかったことなど、政府・市に対して積雪時対策の不備を市民・マスコミが強く指摘していました。
写真はハイドパーク周り、セントポール寺院周りが白く雪化粧した風景です。ホロゴンの広い画角と周辺落ちが、風景をドラマチックにしてくれているようです。
It seemed to be the season with very much snow as London in winter of 08
to 09. There was the first snow of the season in October of autumn. I suppose
it came down 4 to 5 times? Biggest influence we had was a snowfall in February
among, the subway were operated only to the small portion and all the bus
operation of the city went out, and an economic activity was paralyzed
on this day, too.
For snow of this level, even one bus could not
move. Citizens and mass communications had pointed out the defect of the
measure strongly to the government and cities -- snow removal did not progress,
either -- in case of snow coverage.
Photographs are the scenery of Hyde Park and the circumference of St. Paul's
Cathedral covered with snow white. It seems that the large field angle
and dark expression for circumference fields of HOROGON make scenery dramatic.

Sloane square

この日ハロッズはあれだけ大きなデパートであるにもかかわらず入場制限されるほど買い物客が押し寄せ、一時は長蛇の列でした。ハロッズから少し南に下ったところにあるスローン・スクエアは、お洒落なブティックやブランドの店が並ぶ一角ですが、クリスマスイルミネーションも一風変わった鳥の巣のようなデザインでした。
A shopper flocked around because it was set a limit to entrance on this
day though the Harrods was a so big department store, and it was a long
line at one time. Sloane Square that went down from Harrods a little in
the south was the corner where a stylish boutique and the shops of the
brand lined up, but the illuminations were the designs which seemed to
be the nest of the peculiar bird on Christmas.

Westend

この日はこの時期のロンドンにしては珍しくすっきりと晴れてくれました。冬季は太陽が低いため、日中でもなかなか早いシャッターが切れないことが多く、その分ブレ写真も量産するのですが、これだけ明るいとｆ8.0固定のホロゴンでもさっと切り取ることができます。ただ、被写体との距離感はまだまだ甘いですね。更なる鍛錬が必要です。
It was fine unusually clearly for London of this time on that day. Because
the sun is low in the winter season, I tend not to be able to readily use
high speed shutter even in the daytime and making mass production of the
misfocused blurring photographs, but can cut even hologon of the f8.0 fixation
quickly if only this is such bright. But a feeling of object distance should
be more closer. Further training is necessary.

Chiristmas illumination in London

０８年の１２月２５日、クリスマス当日の情景です。前日のイヴにはあれほど賑わった目抜き通りも、当日はほとんどの交通機関も店もレストランも休みですので、全く人も歩いていないほどの状況です。むしろお蔭様で？ゆったりと三脚も立てられ、珍しいイルミネーション風景が撮影できました。
It is a sight of Christmas that day on
December 25, 08. Since almost all means of transportation, a store, and a
restaurant are closed on the day, the main street with which it was crowded at
the eve the previous day as that is also in a situation to the extent that
people are not walking at all, either. rather -- luckily -- ? The tripod was
also stood calmly and new illuminations scenery has been photoed.
