この日は突然雷とシャワーが来たり、非常に変わりやすい天気でしたが、ロンドンで最大のマーケットといわれるここの人出は相変わらずでした。今回の作例はタンバールをアダプターで5Dに装着してオリジナルの90mmで撮影しました。やはり程よい望遠感はフルサイズCMOSならではですね。
Although it was a very changeable weather with thunder and showers coming
suddenly during the day, the crowd here in so called greatest market in
London was as usual. This examples for this time was taken with Canon5D
equipped Thambar by the adapter, and took at 90mm original. The feeling
of natural Telephoto of 90mm is good and it depends on Canon’s full size
CMOS a lot.

久しぶりに使って再確認しましたが、このレンズは開放ではボケすぎで使いにくいです。ほんの少し絞ったf3くらいがソフト具合、ボケ具合とも最も好みになります。まあ、ポートレートヌードなどでは違うのかも知れませんが、あまり撮るつもりもないので、「ちょっと絞り」でこれからも行きたいと思います。
I reconfirmed using after a little absence,
it is not so comfortable to use this lens with full aperture because of too
much softness. About f3-4 which closes a diaphragm a little is my favorite for
the soft condition and bokeh condition. I do not know when I take photos of
Portrait Nude, however I do not have any plans to do, I will continue to use
this Thambar with ‘a little closed’ condition from now on. |

昼間このレンズで撮影するにはISO50くらいがほしいですね。R−D1は200が最低なので、屋外ではちょっと開放近くの絞りはきびしくなります。最近好みなのは大体f4前後ですね。このレンズの両面の特徴がちょうどいいバランスで出てきてくれるような気がします。
I want ISO 50 to take a photograph with
this lens during daytime. Since ISO200 is the minimum R-D1, it is a little
difficult to set the iris diaphragm near full aperture. Around f4 is my favorite recently. I feel that
the characteristic of both sides of this lens comes out in just right balance
in F4. |

買うまでは死ぬほど欲しいのですが、手に入ってしまうとなかなか出番が回ってこないレンズ。そんなのありませんか。私にとってはこのタンバールがそんなレンズです。「滲みレンズ」というよりは完全にソフトになってしまうので、ちょっとインパクトが強すぎて後回しになってしまう感じです。でもいざ持ち出して写してみるとやっぱりいいですね。今回はすべて開放で撮りましたが、絞りによるボケの形の変化などもっと較べてあげなくてはいけないなあと反省。
近接の被写体を写すと、「うるさいボケ」といってしまえばそれまでですが、なんとも絵画チックです。反射望遠も真っ青ですね(笑)
The lens which I want very very much until buying
it, but not use so often after obtaining it. Don’t you have such kind of lens? For
me Thambar is such a lens. Since it becomes soft completely rather than a bokeh
lens with blur, the impact is a little too strong for me and possible to leave
it later. But once taking out and use, it is very good feeling. Although I took
all photos in full aperture this time, I regret a little I should have compared
descriptions by the change of the diaphragm. When I take photo of a near subject,
I dare to say it makes the "noisy bokeh", however it is also very
picturesque on the other hand. It is rather equal or more than Reflective lenses.

開放ではバックのボケの独特な部分と全体的なソフトな描写が楽しめます。でもf5.6程度以上に絞ると結構カチッとした写りになり、この変化が楽しいです。ボケの流れのようなものはほとんどないと言っていいですね。
In full aperture, the special taste of
bokeh of the back and overall soft description can be enjoyed. But if I close
to about f5.6, the projection become well and sharp which change is also very
pleasant to me. I almost can not see any flow of bokeh.

手前のボケはまあまあ素直なほうですが、バックボケは蛙の卵がつながったような独特のものになってます。タンバールでの絵作りは本当に難しいです。レンズの特徴だけに頼ると結構すぐに飽きてしまいそうな気がします。
Although the bokeh of front side is gentler
so so, bokeh of the back is peculiar looks like the egg of the frog was
connected. Making a picture with thambar is really difficult. If I depend only
on the feature of the lens, I assume that it is likely to get bored very well
so soon.

Hondo-Ji temple

松戸市にあるアジサイで有名な本土寺です。でも圧巻だったのはむしろ菖蒲のほう。まさに一面咲き誇るという状態で、その周囲をアジサイが取り囲んでおり、予想を上回る見事さでした。ここでのタンバールはf4からf5.6くらいにしていたせいか、独特の滲みはあまり強く出てません。
バックのボケはこれまた独特ですね。
This is Hondo-ji temple famous for the hydrangea located in Matsudo-shi
in Chiba. But the highlight of the day was rather Japanese iris flowers.
They were in the stage of blooming on the whole surface, and the hydrangea
flowers were surrounding them. I felt it was the wonderfulness more than
my anticipation. Because I made the diaphragm around f4-f5.6, the specific
blur of Thambar did not come out so strong. The bokeh of the back is something
special as usual.
